Strands of Thought; Photographs

Photographing the physical mind maps produced an  series of 120 images, these were displayed both hard copy as a photobook and also as a digital image loop with the words on screen.

The thoughts were photographed then inverted to become negatives, echoing the ghost image burnt on the back on eyelids after focusing on an object intensely. This, along with the freeze and archive aspect of using photography, plays with current understanding of memory and  the split second of thought formation.
