Copper plant tags, Copper wire, Brass eyelets, Soft rushes, Nettle yarn, Indian ink, Walnut ink, Time, Heat, Water.

 

Hand inscribed, embossed and punched.

 

Daily recordings of temperature and humidity at 3 hourly intervals. Recorded at Sunnybank, Loanhead during my local growing and foraging season, February 2017 – November 2017. Empirical data that correlates with the intrinsic properties of plants used for the natural dyeing of alpaca wool, Alpacas reared eight miles away. Examining the continual background uptake of nutrients and memories of place.
